Завод Катерпиллар в городе Тосно в Ленинградской области - это первое производство в России, которое полностью принадлежит Корпорации Катерпиллар (Caterpillar Inc.). Завод специализируется в следующих областях: - производство комплектующих для экскаваторов, собираемых на заводах Катерпиллар в Бельгии и Франции. Продолжается расширение экспорта комплектующих. - с 2008 года на заводе осуществляется сборка экскаваторов 320 модели, с 2011 года - 336 модели гусеничных экскаваторов на внутренний рынок России и стран СНГ. - с 2010 года функционирует производственная площадка в Новосибирске, выпускающая кузовы карьерных самосвалов 773 и 777 на внутренний рынок России и стран СНГ. - 2011 года на заводе осуществляется сборка карьерных самосвалов модели 773, 2013 года - карьерных самосвалов модели 777 на внутренний рынок России и стран СНГ.
